No no we are good in team sports but are getting screwed by poor management and poor coaching staffs. Water polo is also known to produce results.. Not to sure how they are faring currently.

Its extremely frustrating to see the boys not having any sense of urgency.. None at all.. They are not even running to get the ball when its out of play, or trying to quicken their pace.. Raddy might be sidelined, but he is still the coach, Plan the 1st 11, gave the plan on how to play the game and should be in the dressing room during half-time.. Even when Arsene wenger was sidelined, He was constantly on the phone with his coaching staff to hand out instructions.

Have to start young and get into the Fraternity by the time you are 14yrs old.. If not.. Forget about it(This is the sad part of local football, It has lots of favoritism).. Dont look down on Locals.. You seem to play lots of football as well and have defiantly come across people who are 10x better then yourself, You or me might not be the hope but those that we have played with can be the hope.. But too bad.. All are smokers, drunkards, have poor health and stamina, getting fat every day, lazy and not been exposed.

Played for school from Pri 5 to sec 4, played for East side MILO and a few clubs and for My Zone(CC) I have come across extremly talented footballers..But they never Step up or given the chance to step up... Fandi ahmad is local and even Ajax wanted him but Local Politics gave him the ultimatum to either play football locally or never play for Singapore.. Stupid bugger choose to play for Singapore instead of Ajax even Rejecting them TWICE.

Take note of Sg Under 15/16...And how they fared in the Lion city cup..Take note of the investment in them(Which is almost none) no exposure no nothing yet they were able to hold their ground and infact play way better football and was more enjoyable to watch them the senior team with their thru balls and fancy footwork that WORKED and every single one of them was LOCAL BORN CITIZENS.

Future is bleak for Spore's football... I rushed back from work last evening to catch the game on TV.. But what I get was just disapointment dished out by our football team.. They don't deserved the nickname ''Lions'' at all.. They are just pussies.. Disjointed performance, no pride in the shirt, no passion at all... Only the lad Harriss Harun proved to be the only bright hope in a bleak night at the Jalan Besar Stadium.. This boy will go far if he do not follow the path of those Prima Donnas like Nor Alam Shah and the rest... Most of these players have got to be thankful that they are being paid to do the job that they loves and that is playing football... If not because of football, many of these well paid brats would have struggle to get a decent job outside... Giving citizenships to Foreign Imports to don our National Jersey must be put to a stop... Its more satsifying that we lose as a full all - Sporean team than losing with half of the team consisiting of FTs... I don't understand this. Duric can at least do what he is paid to do: score. He is quite fit for a man in his early 40s and this says much about his professionalism. I have no problems with him but still, I would very much prefer he gets dropped. Sinkieland needs to blood some local youngsters at the senior level and he is taking up space.
