If you go in as investors aka flippers for a capital gain, buy low and sell high, provided there is an up-market trend, if it turns out bear, you are toast !
If you are buying to live in , provided you can hold if you are on mortgage, gainfully employed, you are also toast if you cannot keep up the mortgage.
