Europe and American history always has an immigration narrative. Serves the purpose of a growing economy. I am glad the PAP has been very selective with the migrants we want to keep.
The trouble with Donald Trump is that he has the undeniable track record of looking after his own interest. He has repeatedly sent his companies into bankruptcy in order to avoid debts. Initially when he did this first, folks thought that he was a bad businessman but then realised what he is made of.
The other thing is that he may win the Presidential Nomination for the Republicans but he has also marginalised major voting blocs within the country making winning virtually impossible for the Presidency on the raw numbers alone.
US does need to have a strong President to get rid of people who do not believe in the values of the country. And to be honest , it is likely to come from the Republican camp but this guy has screwed his own party.

Although I am an immigrant, I believe that immigrants should not bring or carry forward their "baggage from their old country" to try to impose it on the residents of the "host country."
On that rationale, I agree with those countries who have indicated that they will pay for the airfare to send those immigrants to their country of origin, if they do not or cannot "live with the established practices and culture of the host countries (mostly Christian).
I am tired of the immigrants who belong to a specific religion who demand and insist that they do not have to take off the "face cover" for the photo for their driver's licence and when they vote, and for a designated room at schools and at airports for them to pray.
