Brian & Mark Richmond should stop telling decades-old internet jokes on radio

this morning happened to tune in for a quick 5 minutes and gurmit singh was on the show and speak very fast and the 2 richmonds just laugh to give face to gurmit.

I know Mark personally and met his dad Brian a couple of times. Brian wasn't that great but the best Singapore had in the 80s World Of Sports days. Mark got the job simply because his father had been well established there. Mark anchored the 1995 SEA Games commentaries and reports. It was downright disaster to a joke. Bryan was sent to be radio DJ and I didn't know what happened to Mark, seemingly sacked and disappeared, until recently reappeared on radio with his dad again.

He did some episodes with Venetta and some episodes with Gurmit too. Sad to say with his acting skills, nobody else dared to test him out. He failed both tests anyway.

i remember his malaysia cup 90s football commentary, quite ok to me. he was very passionate. his commentary more exciting than the match.

Glad to hear that he has a fan in you. But I understand, most feedback were damningly condemning. That was why he was removed.

I agree that both of them are useless and suck at what they do. (At least Brian should stick to the 60+ crowd who listen to him.)

But, then again the majority of "DJs" on air also suck and got no talent. Come to think of it, a lot of people in other jobs in Singapore also got no talent for the job....
