Breaking: Roy Ngerng got fired from Tan tock Seng Hospital!

You mean you need to have a job in order to get income????

Can't he set up something to earn an income by himself???

Oh gosh..sinkies are really damn low minded...no wonder kanna screwed by your own govt daily.

Forgive him, he does not understand. That's why he signed on police.

Not sure what that job does, but at least it is a living.

Now no job........no income at all.

I think he should be a victim of replacement by FTs. His skillset should be some other fields.
The way he speaks doess not look like one who willingly do a patient coordinator job. This post is mostly held by aunties, minahs and marchik.

Set what up? Like you, sell soursop by the roadside ah?

HAHAHA ! he thought everyone like soursop, and everyone likes to be a pimp and promote gambling like his boss ah sam. We have backbone unlike some people.

[h=1]MOH: ROY HAS NO INTEGRITY AND WAS NOT FOCUSED ON WORK, GOOD THAT HE WAS FIRED[/h]

Roy was just fired from his job as a patient coordinator at the Communicable Disease Centre at Tan Tock Seng Hospital with immediate effect.

TTSH had cited that he had acted “improperly” in public and was neglecting his work duties. They explained that Roy, given his current pending legal dispute with PM Lee, had been using some work hours to pursue personal and non-job-related activities.

(Full story see: Roy Ngerng Fired From Tan Tock Seng Hospital For “Improper Public Conduct”)

Now, the Ministry of Health has also taken this opportunity to further make personal attacks on Roy saying that he has little integrity.

MOH explained in a statement saying that it supports TTSH’s termination of Roy’s employment contract.

They said that Roy’s actions “show a lack of integrity and are incompatible with the values and standards of behavior expected of hospital employees.”

Commenting on his sudden dismissal, Roy wrote to facebook that it was not unexpected.

What is curious is that the Ministry of Health has felt compelled to issue a statement on this matter so quickly after it occurred.

Does this mean that the MOH had known all along of the intention of TTSH to fire Roy and had already been prepared to ‘support’ them?

Decisions about firing staff members usually lies with the employers, in this case TTSH, and the Ministry of Health should have little input into this process.

It is understandable that MOH would feel compelled to issue a statement if there was a lot of unexpected public concern and these concerns had been directed at MOH for them to look into the matter, however this was not the case at all.

MOH issued a separate statement on the issue very shortly after it was announced that Roy got fired; even before anyone would have had the opportunity to raise questions about his dismissal and ask for MOH’s opinion. Did they have a hand in the firing of Roy?

Furthermore, their statement highlighted that Roy had a ‘lack of integrity’. Is this the attitude you want to see from government ministries when they refer to people who are raising genuine concerns about public policies that affect all Singaporeans?

Did MOE issue a statement condemning all teachers and principals caught having sex with underaged prostitutes?

What do you think?

UPDATE:
Roy has also expressed that he feels his sacking was politically motivated. (Roy Ngerng: My Sacking was Politically Motivated)
