It is fortunate that S'pore didn't send this woman to negotiate with the Indian team.

"PM Modi will visit Singapore on September 4 and September 5, 2024, at the invitation of the PM, his excellency Lawrence Wong," Ministry of External Affairs spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said.

"The leaders will review the progress of India–Singapore Strategic Partnership and exchange views on regional and global issues of mutual interest. During the visit, Prime Minister will call on President of Singapore H.E. Mr. Tharman Shanmugaratnam and interact with Singaporean leadership. Prime Minister will also meet with business leaders from Singapore," the Ministry of External Affairs said in a press release.

"A country with more than 1.4 billion people is now embarking on a major upgrade of its aviation sector. This is a once in a two, three-decade opportunity, and it's good that we are, in a sense, in the front seat and have a chance (to collaborate)," said Singaporean Foreign Minister Vivian Balakrishnan after the meeting.

During the multi-ministerial meeting, the two countries covered how to strengthen bilateral cooperation in areas such as digital technology, skill development, sustainability, healthcare, connectivity, and manufacturing.

Mr. Balakrishnan said advanced manufacturing and semiconductors, as well as aviation and maritime connectivity, are the new areas that Singapore and India have added to a high-level platform for discussing ways to enhance bilateral cooperation.

These two additions to the India-Singapore Ministerial Roundtable are areas of significant opportunity for both countries, as well as their companies, the Singaporean foreign minister was quoted as saying by The Straits Times on Tuesday (August 27, 2024).

Calling the ministers-only meeting "productive", Mr. Balakrishnan said it also sets the stage for an official visit to Singapore by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, which will "occur shortly".

Mr. Balakrishnan said projects like the digital payments linkage have much more potential, such as becoming part of a regional instant payments system. “Such a network will facilitate trade and economic development across the region,” he added.

“That is why cyber security was discussed at the latest roundtable, alongside other ideas on standardising rules and increasing inter-operability so that other countries that want to be part of this network in future can do so more easily,” the Singaporean foreign minister added.

At a dinner following the roundtable meeting, Deputy Prime Minister Gan said Singapore and India are natural partners with complementary strengths that have allowed both sides to forge strong economic and investment ties.

“Indian companies also form one of the largest foreign corporate contingents in Singapore,” he noted.

"I am confident that the discussions we had today and those in the future will pave the way to foster greater collaboration between Singapore and India,” the Deputy Prime Minister said.

The global trend is dismissal of Indian CEO/PMET from their organization.
Guess the more accurate word is "purge" these people out from their Companies
You see how CECA derail even the most profitable S&P 500 Boeing into ashes
Never do business in India, never step foot into that country.
CECA wants to buy anything, always demand full payment or get lost

It is unclear how many of these Chinese ghost cities currently exist, but estimates put the number as high as 50 municipalities.

Some of these cities have yet to be completed while others are fully functioning metropolises, save for the lack of residents. The occurrence of these ghost cities across China has, unsurprisingly, attracted significant attention from international observers.

"All of them are bizarre, all of them are surreal. There's no other way to describe a city meant for thousands of people that's just completely empty," explained Samuel Stevenson-Yang, a photographer working to document this modern Chinese phenomenon, in an interview with ABC Australia

they are exporting the ghost concept to countries like Cambodia now. Sihanoukville, or Kampong Soam, looks like KL with its abandoned constructions LOL. Up to 500 half fucked buildings apparently. Previously it was Malaysia after the ports went belly up.

Iswaran sold SG out to India. Now our leaders have lined up Tharman to do likewise. Haven't our overrated and overhyped Ministers learned anything from past experiences?
