As long as they are in a one-on-one contest with PAP, that opposition party/candidate is good enough.

Any opposition will do. Don't be taken in by so called sayings that an opposition party is not good enough.

Everyone knows the opposition's chances of winning is always the lowest at the biggest ministers' wards. That is the same everywhere in this world. "Suicide team" is an easy-to-understand description of this mission, not meant to demean those who has taken the courage to stand forward.

While WP and SDP probably have enough impressionable youths to apply Sun's strategy of "pitting weakest against strongest", SF, for now at least, are made of high profile successful retirees who want one good go at the PAP. This may however change closer to the election.

At least they not going to be spoiling some other fight.
