it may not be just NUS

what truly amazes me is that singaporeans, the real ones, paid for their own education, go to the hinterlands of educations and paid more than twenty thousand each to take degrees from lesser universities

whilst their country's leaders paid for the education of others to take the place of singaporeans in their own universities


this sense of paradox is prevalent across pap singapore today

singapore has one of the highest concentration of millionaires in the world

singaporeans are fussy because they are not willing to work for $1,000



still, pap singapore should prevail for the next decade or so, confidently predicted by one and there is no reason why they will not

a new singapore is emerging

singaporeans and foreignporeans, a tale of trust, hope and loyalty in our elected leaders

it makes me very proud that we have such farsighted leaders

[COLOR="_______"]I long suspected either someone elite in control of the administration of NUS control the intake of Singaporeans or someone FT in the adminstration limiting the intake of Singaporeans into Universities in Singapore. They rather let FTs and scholarships to take up places in Singapore than Singaporeans. They rather let Singaporeans burn a big pocket by going overseas to spend on useless paper .[/COLOR]
