It is happening now!

A fire has broken out in a sixth floor unit in Afro-asia Building on Robinson Road this morning (Aug 10). SCDF personnel are already on the scene as STOMPers Benny Cham and Timothy S report.

STOMPer Benny Cham said:

"Smoke is gushing out of the windows at Afro-asia Building from a sixth floor unit in Shenton Way along Robinson Road.

"I took these pictures are taken from my office diagonally opposite Robinson Road."

STOMPer Timothy S said:

"Frazzled-looking SCDF firefighters hesitant to enter Afro-Asia Building.

"They're trying to aim jets of water into the unit from the ground but they are missing."

Missed Robinson @ Raffles Place...John Little was opposite, that is to the back of the photo & Gian Singh Building was where the First Oriental Emporium that sells products from CHINA...ok! so much for history!.
