Great, Sinkies killing Sinkies. FTs laughing all the way to the bank.

Usually it is the IOs on duty who will discourage reports being made. Coz the IO has lots of work to do once report lodged. The charge-room uniformed officer is usually ok with reports lodged. If they good bro of IO, they will dissuade. If bad blood, they will "find" and "dig" for more offences for the complainant.

There are many stories of how the kuai lan IOs are punished by their colleagues. The DSI very important. Don't offend him. If you do, he just make arrests at gambling dens whereby 20-30 arrested was common. The AIO will be stucked! The IO and SIO too, helping record statements.

bro dragon. the story I heard was not a simple case of procedural failure. i don't want to say too much here because it involved many sides.

Six nabbed in connection with Bt Panjang gang fight
Posted: 10 November 2010 2013 hrs

SINGAPORE: Police have arrested six people, aged between 15 and 23 years, in connection with a gang fight at Bukit Panjang on Monday night.

The alleged assault took place at about 10pm at Block 418, Fajar Road where a 20-year-old man was slashed and later hospitalised.

Not long after, the group of attackers, some armed with choppers, rained blows on six others near a basketball court at Jelapang Road some 400 metres from the first site.

The news say DTE is an isolated case how come so fast another BP case. Sound like the orchard road flood. Isolated case but flood again very soon. Isolated case nowaday means going to happen again very soon.

Bro, please go bookshop buy latest edition of Oxford dictionary. "Isolated" means "frequent", "regular", "consistent" "always" etc.

That's either a biased misperception or groundless allegation. Proof, please.

talk to any patrol officer and he will tell you the truth. blare the sirens, chase away the baddies, less reports, less endangerment of personal safety.

"Base, have arrived on scene. no sign of fight. resuming patrol..."

Most or more violent and garang I think quite hard to answer. Least violent and garang is S'pore. We are talking not about the hardcore type. We are talking about kids!

The countries you mentioned, triad members are armed. And they are trigger happy too. How many S'pore triad members ever held a pistol or revolver other than the AR15 and M16 in the SAF?

So, our triad are kids to those overseas. And if our police can't cope, God bless us.

I was a patrol officer before. Yes, I'd on the siren in case of calls of violent or emergency case. Don't on the siren? Sneak up silently to catch them after they chopped up each other lying in pools of blood? I think if the sound of the siren breaks up the fight before serious casualty, it's done a good job. It's a limb or life saved.

Police don't need siren to protect themselves. We can just shoot them if they're armed and continued to be aggressive. If the call came in as a gang clash of 20 to 30, rest assured more than one car would be sent.
