Standard market rate is 20 cents or 30 cents.

You will encounter some funny-funny patterns e.g. takeaway rice but put inside the round plastic container and give you a pair of chopsticks.

Those located in the public hawker centres are indeed daylight robberies to impose such exorbitant charges because their rentals are not that expensive to begin with. I can still empathize for those operating in those privatized Kopitiams because their landlords are worse than draculas.

You do know that most of the private kopitiams are run by PAP cronies, don't you? Many outlets on the island, same interior layout, 'here today gone tomorrow' employees and not family-owned businesses.
