The a321 now have the range of 757 in the a321lr. And now they eill be introducing the a321 ulr. Ultra long range because the airlines want it.
Tge LR flew 11 hours on a test flight non stop loaded with sand bags to simulate real passengers from mauritius to tolouse although its certified for just 4000nm.
The ULR may fly just 1000nm more maybe by adding tanks in the cargo compartment.
