Just a thread to discuss about boating matters in JB and where to fix stuff.

Always been sir, just that never really shared much on this. Puteri Harbour is where i regularly go.

Yards to avoid, please please avoid. They will all offer low prices but keep jacking up things as you progress, eventually some even overcharging by 80%.

Boat
Dalac Marine Engineering & Services SB
Kampung Teluk Jawa

Does not honour promises, overcharges by 30%, spoils more things than they fix.

By far the worst we ever encountered in JB:

Pioneer Smith Shipyard SDN BHD
Gelang Patah, iParc

Will share more later but for those who ever want to fix their boats for any reasons, please please avoid this place.
Even if they claim to have government contacts and do naval yard things, you would not want any of your friends
to ever fix their things there. Luckily we didn't recommend others to go else would have felt so bad.

Care to elaborate on Boat Workscope details ?
If not convenient, please PM me.
Many Puteri Harbour Owners are in self-denial and refuse to accept the facts that Puteri Harbor is NOT a True Marina, but simply a place for boats to berth,..and little else.

There will be NO improvements unless we dare to discuss real issues, openly

Looks like Puteri Harbour has been taken over by Tiongnam. No change in berthing charges yet, still on par or slightly better than Senibong and Senibong is a much vibrant place for now. Anyway likely Puteri Harbour will hopefully grow, very basic services available but luckily the marina team are doing their best.
