A Bangladeshi construction worker has died after being flung from a moving
lorry when a car crashed into the back of it.
The 36-year-old is believed to have hit his head after falling into a drain
when he was thrown from the vehicle on the East Coast Parkway (ECP).
He died on Wednesday at the Changi General hospital, said a police
spokesman.
The driver of the Audi car involved in the crash was arrested on suspicion of
drink driving.
