Heroic construction workers help put out fire on burning Merc
STOMPer Nismo Badboyz salutes a few brave construction workers who helped put out a fire on a burning Mercedes along North Buona Vista Road.
"This really look like the series Trauma from AXN. While most people run when there is danger, few will run towards it.
"This is what I saw during the short 15 minutes at the junction of Commonwealth Ave West and North Buona Vista Road.
"I saw a few men from the construction site nearby running with their fire extinguishers towards the burning car to put out the fire.
"They also helped to stop all traffic approaching the fire.
"They are the workers from Or Kim Peow Contractors.
"Salute to the workers and also MOM for educating these workers on safety.
"Now I know they are going to be more heroes in years to come in Singapore. Keep it up!"
STOMPer William, who also witnessed the incident before the SCDF came, said:
"I don't think anyone was injured.
"Many people stopped to watch the fire.
"I couldn't see the SCDF, but I think they were approaching because I could here a siren from afar."
