Nearby Austin Duta by IJM should also be launching soon. It is a big development and should comprise of terraces. Location could be north of Seri Austin.

No idea. I just happened to look at some Facebook and property advertisements. Registration of interest started around March this year. Given that it is IJM, it will not be cheap. 24x70 could be $7xxk RM after discount. The developer could adjust price up or down by 5% depending on the interest level.

From the map, these newer developers are tapping on SP Setia and Bandar Dato Onn's road and possibly drainage infrastructures. In terms of access, Jalan Dato Onn Utama, Jalan Daya and Jalan Mutiara Emas Utama should be quite congested during peak hours soon. Best hope is to expand these access roads and upgrade Jalan Kampong Maju Jaya to serve Seri Austin, Bandar Dato Onn, Eco Spring/Summer and this project.

I heard from an agent maybe going to be around RM650K after discount. Is quite competitive.
 
Well there you go! Our good friend cslong aka relaxman has just confirmed the house will be launched at the SAME PRICE AS SRI AUSTIN TWO YEARS AGO. So u still think johior is a good investment? U buy property is to see price go up up up. Not flat.

Location, floor area, quality of materials and labour are different, so a direct comparison is difficult. In an environment of high inflation, other input factors being the same, a similarly priced property with respect to 2 years ago is likely have some trade-offs.

Now it is probably the lull period for next 2 years. However if you have holding power and using it yourself, it is good to grab a highly discounted unit when everybody is so negative. Prices are unlikely to remain flat in the mid-long term.

You are quite right on this. Even BDO P15 houses have shrank to make the price competitive. In terms of location, Austin Duta should be quite far from either Tebrau or North-South highway.
