Boring, inauthentic Peranakan cuisine everywhere (halal no pork), even hotter than Sinkieland, place look run down, Peranakans mostly gone with abandoned old houses. Don’t waste your time.

Are you advertising?I recommend Restoran Aunty Lee which may not impress with its decor, but its distinctive purple and white entrance is hard to miss. Inside, the restaurant has a cosy, old-fashioned feel, like dining at your grandma's home. The food is traditional Peranakan, served simply and without pretence, but packed with flavour block blast. The kitchen focuses on the love and passion that goes into home-style Nyonya cooking. The generous portions, affordable prices and delicious food make Aunty Lee's a perfect spot for a comfort food while in Melaka.
Just a down to earth review when the food blows me away. I have no share in this restaurant. Are you advertising?
If you only have time for 1 Peranakan restaurant meal in Penang, Auntie Gaik Lean's Old School Eatery is a must try. I am also not advertising, but giving my honest opinion. Are you advertising?
