That the CCP communists are embracing FREE MARKET to some extend, is a testimonial that the ideology of communism had failed.
Being FREE MARKET, it is NO USE for the WEST to complain about China, the biggest market with low labor & manufacturing costs, being a competitor, & attempt to use trade sanctions, etc to curtail a competitor. Even if China becomes a democracy one day, it will HAVE TO continue what it is doing, because it has 1.4 BILLION mouths to feed, unlike the West whom have only millions....
1 Trillion earned revenues by the CCP govt in a year to support social expenditures for 1.4 Billion citizens = 1,000,000,000,000 / 1,400,000,000 = $714 per person
1 Trillion earned revenues by the US govt in a year to support social expenditures for 300 million citizens = $3,300 per person per yr.
It was presumed that UNIVERSAL WTO COPYRIGHTS policies would prevent 'copy & paste' competitors. Sadly, such will only work up to a point, as just be being slightly different in manufacturing, a product is NOT considered infringing on copyrights.... And China is NOT ashamed to copy & paste any chance it gets.
Furthermore, China has no qualms or care about tech research or evolution. It WILL ATTEMPT TO CORNER the market every chance it gets, to survive, by selling its products cheaply thru MASS production on economies of scale, of low or poor quality, badly researched products but mass high revenues earned by those whom cannot afford quality high end products from the West & Democracies.
Thus, in order to compete in the FREE market place, Western tech firms will have to STRATEGIZE, the way APPPLE sold its products successfully:-
1. Hire the best consumer researchers, hardware & software engineers that money can buy.
2. Develop a product that is INNOVATIVE, NEEDED & 3 steps ahead of any competitor in the market.
3. Manufacture the product with only 1 step tech innovation ahead of market, with small manufacturing plants, agile, funded & ready to switch product & factory retooling within 1 yr, because the strategy is to mass market the product at a high price that will have a lead time before competitors copy & paste the tech innovation, & when the copied product is sold, within 6mths of reverse engineering knowledge, they will be left with only 6mths market share, while the original product developer had already shut down its production line & is on ANOTHER product line that is only another step of tech innovation.
Using the above strategy, the INNOVATIVE West & Democracies need not fear China. It is NOT an innovative nation because ANY grass that attempts to rise above others, will be cut down, by their superiors even at a small sweat shop. It is their culture, unlike Democracies where ideas & concepts are freely challenged, discussed & solutions found to progress & evolve.
At the end of the day, it may even assist in developing China's aspiring engineers & workers proletariat, to be innovative & upgrade their skills thru learning from others, to progress & evolve...
