I used to stay there for 20 years & people in Tampines like their HDB flats to appreciate a lot  the present properties rocket high prices made the people there very happy.

You can also do a check on Tampines GRC results in GE 2006, 2001 & 1997.

Even the Teochew Nangs in Tampines also support PAP .. not SDA or NSP

Personally i do not support SDA and never will.

But let's talk about your pic.

That girl is quite pretty until i saw your nic. Certainly hope it is not referring to the girl?

If 3 Opp parties are contesting in the same GRC, it risks splitting of votes and reducing winning chance.

However, even if only one Opp party contests, there may still be vote splitting among those who vote PAP, those who vote the Opp, and those who cast protest votes because they dislike either.

Nevertheless, it will be good if we do not let any GRC or single ward go uncontested. That way, the PAP if they win, will walk away with a thin margin, and broken egos for the Old fart and his lackeys.

Instead of 3 opposition parties taking on 1 tampines...
i rather they spread their chances to other GRCs.

Why waste their resources, money and time on tampines
when there are so many other GRCs waiting to be contested?

Bsides, residents in tampines are quite happy with the ruling party.
If the oppositions are hoping using HDB issue to persuade the residents...
i don't even think they are interested to hear...since they bought at a low price.

:o :( :o

It's clear that it's a media spin to make the opposition look like they have the tendency to "fight" one another.

Look at the report again. I've never heard of the RP or WP wanting to go to Tampines. At least the MSM cleared the bill with WP but not RP (KJ was interviewed but censored). For the SDP, it is clear to me that brokering with another opposition for a ward is not their style, eg Sembawang in 2006, Bishan-TP now. When the press mentioned SDP actually going to NSP to "request" for Tampines, I already felt something wasn't right.

The MSM should be given a storyteller award.

I would have thought Tanjong Pagar, Ang Mo Kio and Marine Parade are very pro-PAP.

What makes you think Tampines people are very pro-PAP? They don't speak Teochew?

On the contrary, a substantial number of Oppositions supporters were 'absorbed' into these 3 strongholds.
