Definitely the Malays has been systematically marginalised and treated as lesser mortals, even lesser than the other races. The focus on Malays has always been:
1. They are the ones due to their religion
2. They are not wanted in NS becos' they are Muslims and their Muslim bros are our neighbours
3. Their academic perfomance are not on par with the other races
4. They have more social problems than the other races
5. Etc

This stereotyping has always been there and ingrained into all Singaporeans. From the many comments in this and other forums, nothing has change and I doubt it will, unless Singaporeans and the Malay Community finds a solution. It does not help too that Singapore and also Malaysia cannot integrate the different races and remove the word RACE from all identity cards and put in SINGAPOREAN in it's place. This divide and rule perpetuates the PAP's continued rule over Singapore.

And how have the PAP helped the Malays? Free uni education? Free healthcare? Government spending as a % of GDP is so low in Sinkieland.
