If sinkees start a trust fund under somebody's name and provide him his needs, then the bankruptcy will make no difference. Just don't give him anything of value as LHL will want it. If he needs a handphone, it can be 'on loan' to him and the service registered under someone else's name. Will the Sinkapore First Party do this?
