If yes, why then is he awarded the gold chain for his strong 'support' ?

What turns him around to sign the authorisation to proceed based on $108M budget ? Is he then responsible to answer why the actual is now $380M+ and counting ?

I suppose, since Singapore has won the damned bid, Ass Loon has to show 'support' for the sake of unity in the Cabinet. You can't have the bigshot publicly disagreeing and opposing a done deal, it will cause a rift in the party.

One thing I have to give credit to PAP is they managed to stay united without having any big rifts between members. Then again, with Old Fart around, nobody dares to mess around. It will be interesting to see what will ensue should Old Fart kicked the bucket.
