TikToker shares her interaction with an expat in Singapore who only dates Asian women​

A video of a woman sharing her recent encounter with an expatriate in Singapore who exclusively dates Southeast Asian women has gone viral on TikTok.
TikTok user Candilicious uploaded the video on Saturday to recall what the man said after she asked him about what it is like dating as an expatriate in Singapore.

According to the TikToker, the man told her that he dates Singaporean or women of Southeast Asian descent exclusively, mentioning that “Back home he rates himself a 7.5, and in Singapore, he rates himself a 9."

Candilicious, who makes videos about dating and living in Singapore, ends her video by saying, "I don't know what you Singaporean ladies are doing, but you could do so much better." Her TikTok video has amassed over 102,000 views as of this writing.
Some commenters agreed with Candilicious, with one user writing, “Plot twist: he’s just full of himself,” and another saying, “Yep, this is why I RUN when I see ‘em.”
Other TikTok users said they have also encountered expatriate men who think and act similarly in Taiwan and Bangkok.

“It isn't just Singapore it's the same in Taiwan too,” one person wrote.
“Hahahahahahahah omg I used to live in Bangkok and this was also painfully common to see/hearv [sic],” another user wrote.
In a separate TikTok video uploaded on Sunday, Candicilious shares that she finds it annoying how some men purportedly go on vacation in Singapore and cheat on their partners back home with the locals.
