Juan Mata is a good player, he can play in the midfield 3 or in the attacking 3, can play the Arsenal style.
Barcelona were considering buying him too.
I'll be surprised if Benzema joins, he plays the same way and position as RVP, neither will take kindly to sitting on the bench.

Poor Bendtner will be relegated to the water boy.

the liverpool area is a very english area..indirectly u can call them rac**t....they wld prefer english than a foreigner...a white rather than a black....ask any english bloke and they will tell u...its the liverpool culture...but of coz with the internet, asian and black and hip hop revolution , the younger generation are changing but the older ones still maintain the white english spirit...

They're not rac***t as you put it. Its just the manager's preference. Kenny has a certain style in mind and he's seeking players that will provide the right fit local or otherwise.

well...talk to any englishman (best in their 30s) and they will tell u that....kenny is an old liverpool boy...

liverpool people are very english..they prefer english or british over the rest...if u are black u better be good and / or english.... its the old thinking

They need cover on the left. Eboue is simply not up for it. As far as Downing is concerned, he's one of the few consistent performer in the premier league. Wenger knows Kieron Gibbs is way too 'inexperience' and can be naive at times. Now that Nasri is leaving for City, Wenger needs to step up in the transfer market and walk the talk.
