Okay there are 3 types of people I see...
Let's begin with the first one. This guy enjoys accumulating wealth so much that he doesn't care about others and only concerned about himself. So he's filthy rich. He belongs to a category called the asset and wealth accumulators. Basically these people have no other interests in life other than accumulating wealth. All his life revolved around this main purpose of accumulating wealth. Like, golfing to seal a business deal..etc..He's somewhat we call a resource hoarder. If we have more people like him, the society of will be shortage of resources, because he hordes resources. Sometimes he would cheat and lie to get what he wanted in life, which is basically paper money, let's exclude other assets for simplicity. The society will be very nasty if there are more people like him, because more people will cheat and lie. When people treat others badly, the negative perception of a society grows. Worse still if he exploits the natural environment and depletes earth resources, causing catastrophic effect on natural environment. Why he wanted to accumulated wealth, you may ask? Maybe he's insecure in life, and he believes by accumulating wealth he could feel secure? Or he feels that having wealth could be translated to power to control others? Or he feel he's very self-important that he could do many things other can't? Somehow, there's a mental problem associated with this fetish for money. All these delusions are mostly self-generated, it helps to worsen his condition if there are others whom appreciate people like him. People like him will only give if they could expect a greater return from others.
The second type of person are filthy spenders. They spend more than they earn, and could have many many credit cards. Most of the time they are spending other people's money and are living off others. They even roll on their debts to the following month, by paying interests only. These are the people who are living on borrowed times.
The feel good when they spend, as they could accumulate "things" in their life. When they do not have enough places to store their things, they will find a storage place or rent on to store their "unwanted" things. These are the takers, they take but they don't give.
The third type of persons live according their means. They spend what they earn and maybe save a little for the rainy day. Their life are not based on the need to accumulate resources like money, or material things. There's no need to keep up with the Joneses or the desire to accumulate senseless items. That gives them time to think and seek out what they really wanted in life. Sometimes they give something back to the society.
So which one of the above do you think are normal??
