A warning has been issued about using Android USB-C chargers as apparently they can make iPhone 15 models overheat.

In an Android-specific USB-C cable, there is smaller gap between the single-row 9-pin and single-row 11-pin connectors, subsequently increasing the chances of overheating issues.

european union songboh? standardised and now get fuck by apple. hahaha

bs lah. usb-c connector has total of 24 pins, 12 up and 12 down. where got single-row 9-pin and single-row 11-pin?

difference may be in the transfer protocol standard. latest is usb 4 which requires software to moderate and mitigate overcharging leading to heating and fire issues. many android usb-c (e.g. pixel 6.9) are still on the usb 3.1 standard.

i ain't an apple user. u got to check with apple. haha
what a dumb reply. a standard is a standard. 24-pin means 24-pin or 12-12 for symmetric and reversible connectivity. where got 9-pin and 11-pin connector for reversible connectivity? odd numbers will tell you right away they’re not symmetric and reversible.

mfi, otherwise called the mudder fugger interface by 3rd party vendors.
just curious, do you know if MFI is just a hardware part, a special charging voltage/frequency or just a certification on paper like ISO?

it’s a certification process that involves compliance with design specifications, functional testing, performance testing, etc. apple oversees and supervises the testing processes. mfi means made for iphone, ipod, ipad.

thanks for sharing, realDonaldTrump was just wondering how the apple device can tell the difference if there is no special voltage frequency or hardware in the cables.

Then don't buy iPhones la.
Never have. Never will. Saves you lots of headache

if connector fits (i.e. all pins in contact), it cannot detect difference until sumting burns or blows up.

how much titanium is there in this piece of gayshit?
The links below claimed it is just 1 mm thick
a lot of medical implants use titanium, hope prices will not increase after Apple uses them.
