Appeal for witnesses in Woodlands hit-and-run

The police are appealing for witnesses to come forward if they saw a hit-and-run accident along Woodlands Avenue 3, in front of Block 173, at about 6am on Friday.
A 26-year-old man who was crossing Woodlands Avenue 3 is believed to have been hit by a taxi, which did not stop.
He is still in Khoo Teck Puat Hospital with serious head injuries.
The Singapore Civil Defence Force said it received a call from a member of the public who had found him motionless on the road.
