If u want to keep shrimp inside your tank you can't put heater .. Last time I breed CRS shrimps during summer I on my chiller .

There are many hobbyist's forums you can join and learn from. Just need to google and you find them easily.

I recently saw a aquarium scape to have a 'waterfall' with 'water' flowing down continuously, as part of the landscape . You can do one too easily. Simply wonderful to look at! Just google and you should be able find it.
