Back in 2002, Deputy PM Abdullah Badawi urged Malays to accept meritocracy and give up the crutches of special govt aid. Affirmative Action gave Malays preferential treatment economically, in education and other benefits because they lacked the ability to compete with the Chinese. Badawi said: "We must embrace meritocracy positively and view it as an opportunity to gain dignity for the community by proving we can achieve success on our own merit."The whole of south east asia is contaminated by the chinks. If they were to go back, then these native population will prosper like koreans and japanese. You cannot compete with lying, cheating and scamming if you don't do the same. If chinks don't cheat, will never get rich.
Then Johor Chief Minister Abdul Ghani Othman supported Badawi's call for meritocracy. However, neither followed up because they realised that the dependence on crutches had turn to wheelchairs and today, stretchers.
