Basic Chinese soup (for 4 persons):
Ingredients:
A pot filled with water
300g porkrib
2 corns.
Red dates (just a few will do)
A small handful of wolfberry.
A few dash of soya sauce.
Preparing the porkrib:
Rub the porkrib with salt. Be generous and rub it hard. Once done, rinse it off under running water.
Fill a small pot with water and turn on the heat. When water starts to boil, throw in the porkrib and cook the meat until it is half cooked. when done, remove and rinse the rib under running water.
Leave it aside
Cooking Process:
Throw everything into the pot of water and turn on the heat to high.
Once it starts boiling, lower the heat (water has to be bubbling). Cover the pot with a lid, leaving a small opening.
Boil for at least 3 hours until soup is cloudy.
