A car is not an investment. It is a depreciating asset. Anyone thinking that buying a car is an investment is an idiot.
Also, the sales of EVs is increasing every year, whereas ICE cars are trending down globally. Like it or not, EV will dominate the roads in future.

Doesn't matter. From an engineering perspective, it makes more sense to have EVs than ICE cars as efficiency is off the chart. Oil can continue to be one of the sources of electricity unless nuclear takes over.
