Another part of Singapore Mati Liao!!!:-(

Mr Char Ko Wings, should have scouted for another place to move the kitchen after so many years. They have the intention to close the business, the way I look at it. Businessman are not stupid people.

Agree. No bizman gives up a profitable biz. If doing well, someone will buy over his biz. The intention to close is crystal clear.

what is new, this aint no sacred cow.....why the fuss?if owner had any
acute business sense, he would have some branch stalls opened by now....or dig his heels in.....and challenge SIM..since the lines not so clear as mentioned by him

He must be getting old, almost 50. Even if he has a legal leg to stand on not everyone at that age wants to get involved in a confrontation. That's why change is usually carried out by the young.

Good things will all perish and vanish from Singapore. This evil place only let evil and trash prosper.

50 is not old.

Not everybody wants to open branches and franchises everywhere (which typically results in deterioration in quality).

Also, name me another place that recaptures the magic of the place, which used to be a poultry farm.

Tertiary education institutions (not just SIM) are doing land grabbing because they are now run like profit-maximizing businesses. Education and knowledge take a backseat. This is why you have new hostels, a new university (SMU) and campus expansions.

50 is not old.

In SINgapore you are pass 35 years of age, your are OLD; your bosses will hoover around you, like some turkey vultures. Be glas, the MIW's tell you, old is GOld!!

50 is not old.

In Spore people have to start worrying about their jobs when they are in their late 30's. Why do you think there are so many ex-professionals driving taxis:confused:

The wear & tear on people's mind & body is very high. Many of my classmates have emigrated & when they come back to Spore on holidays I am struck by how young they are when compared to those who are living in Spore :(
