The current Bedok HI was once hauled to the old CPIB @ Funan too, when he was just IO/Sgt. He got himself off cleanly. He was my squadmate at PA. Yeah, he's the through rank-and-file type, went through the era when beating up people, setting up (framing) people, bargaining for information, giving and accepting treats were routine parts of the job.

Three fights in the space of 24 hours between Christmas Eve and Christmas Day marred festivities over the weekend.

The first took place at Downtown East at about 4.30am on Christmas Eve. It left one teen in hospital with about 20 stitches and a possible loss of vision.

The second took place on Christmas night outside an Orchard Road mall. One young man is in critical condition.

The third took place at 4am on Dec 26 at Clarke Quay, leaving a teen with a broken nose.

You are from K7/86 batch? Your squadmate Goh T B certainly has some interesting history.
I remember that guy coz back in 1987 ...... one of our undercover guys got "arrested" while on assignment and was brought back into custody to the Joo Chiat Poodle Station together with the other suspects...... PC Goh T B was on lockup duty that night and for some reason best known to himself..... he picked out and started assaulting the undercover.

The case was handled by IIS but luckily for Goh T B..... the higher ups decided not to prosecute as that would have meant exposing the undercover.

No, I don't have a very high opinion of myself. I just stand my ground, assess the situation if there's a situation and react accordingly. But you sound like someone who has a very low opinion of all others.

And no, I don't do Stomp! I don't even have a digicam or phonecam. If there's a problem I'm unhappy with, I'd let the MP, police division, ministry department etc. concerned have a piece of my mind. If the problem is something I could deal with there and then, considere it dealt with.
