You must not connect what the pap did to you with what you expect your girl to do. These are two different issues.

Confront the injustice that pap has imposed on you by favouring foreigners and making them more appealing to the boss because the foreigners don't have NS liability.

If you feel that SG gals are too demanding, tackle it as a separate issue with them

BTW, is your girl very demanding?

No need to tackle issues with sg char bors now :D

I do not have work issues in sg but it's the injustice of how sinkies are treated that forced me to leave.

I think a serious issue is two year NS for SG guys and reservist liability after ORD. Foreigners are not required to do NS and reservist and this give them a huge advantage over SG guys in the workplace. This is a serious problem that the pap has to resolve.

Other problems affect every SG resident and are less unjust and less pressing

I agree 6.9million is bad. But we are not experiencing it now. what you are experiencing is discrimination in the workplace in SG against SG guys. and that is terrible especially when it is because of your govt's bad policies which favour foreigners over locals.

It will get increasing difficult for SG guys to like the pap and will culminate when the population reaches its crescendo of 6.9m and more. I suspect the pap intends to go beyond 6.9m when we reach it.

Just like the two casinos. I suspect the pap will increase it to three or four once the 10 year timeframe is reached

That's a new perspective. Looking at it objectively, it is bad pap policy to have

1. NS for Singaporean guys and jobs for foreigners
2. Maids who cause family problems

Thanks for the info on citizenship today, though still danger in having dual citizenship still present as a sinkie who live in sinkieland unless it's legalized. I will vote against pap for now and vote for any party that will legalize dual citizenship.
