Having spent 24 years underground as a couple, Andy Lau is finally bringing his girlfriend Carol Chu to light. Though the wedding has been postponed due to media's wanton reports on the original April 6 wedding, Lau seemed to be still making preparations and has offered a bungalow in Kuala Lumpur as betrothal gift.

When reporters visited Chu's residence in Malaysia, they stumbled upon Lau, who seemed to be discussing the wedding plans with his future father-in-law. Clad in matching couple outfits, Lau and Chu looked at each other with unabashed affection. That was the first time in 24 years that the couple was caught on camera together.
According to sources, Lau had earlier bought a 10,000-square-foot bungalow worth S$1.5million as betrothal gift.
At the same time, he also expressed his love for Chu through the song "Long Distance Partner", specially penned by Lin Xi, in his latest album Love Hope.
Lau said, "This song is about the beginning of a marriage, when two people with different lifestyles start living together and have to learn to be tolerant. You have to walk on together till the end to know the result, good or bad. My attitude towards relationships has never changed. Love always begins with romance. The process is dynamic and it will gradually transform into a relationship which will last till the end of life."
According to reports, wedding decorations have been put up in the Chu family's 4,000-square-foot bungalow. A table covered with red cloth, to be used to place offerings during the ceremony, was also seen placed in the courtyard.
(Wah lan eh.... Andy Lau really CB! Only marry the poor woman after 24 years. Imagine if your daughter is dating someone like him! )
