OKay let's say in some other alternative scenerio, an island near to china is occupied by non chinese people, for some reason china kicks out said island and the island isn't under china anymore.
The island due to it's proximity to china still has a minority population of chinese people.
Let me go one step further and say these non chinese people whom are the majority on this island somehow make the island richer economically and the majority race on that island live better than the chinese on the island. These non chinese people don't speak chinese but have their own language but still allow the chinese minority on that island to speak their own language.
Take note the island has it's own sovereignty just that it's close to china. Can the chinese people on that island claim that the island is under chinese rule despite the fact that china kicked the island out? Can the chinese people over there still say the island belongs to chinese people alone since it's near to china?
