Despite all the noise made by Shan over the years , why the CPIB has not investigated anyone in AHTC after KPMG auditors reported that flawed governance led to "improper payments" running into the millions to various parties, including to its former managing agent FMSS and service provider FMSI.

KPMG even flag "serious conflicts of interest" and a "failed control environment" at the town council and warned that if the improper payments were deliberate, "they could amount to criminal conduct, the implications of which the Town Council should consider".

If CPIB did not investigate AHTC after so many years, does it imply a situation worst than flawed governance and a failed control environment in this case-what were the MP's doing?

With all that money floating around I am not surprised by the corruption in the PAP. However I'm surprised that the PAP is making this affair public? Normally such things are dealt internally. Now there will be many who will question the integrity in the PAP. If the PAP does not bring in an independant auditor there will be questions about a double standard.

LHL and Shanmuggam said words to the following effect during the WP TC fiasco - "if they cannot even manage a town council, do you think they can manage to run a country?"

This now happens in AMK of all places.

The dearth of news and soundbites from the PAP MPs and the self-imposed silence of the PAP media is deafening. lol. Oh yes! they say the case is still under investigation and so cannot comment. I recalled the days of not so long ago when the APTC saga was the top news event in Singapore with a daily stream of abusive commentaries, threats of criminal charges and public chiding. Ah Karma is a real bitch indeed! So nice.
