Many are ground or cabin staff from our local airlines. They have been redeployed as ambassadors rather than to retrench them. Some have been deployed as nurses too after a crash course in nursing. This confirms my views that nursing has always been a low skill work.

Not sure about airline crew redeployed for these, i thought the chicks went to the hospitals to help out as maids. Anyway, the number of ppl required are high so minion grunts from various govt bodies are redeployed to be these safe distancing matas.

During non covid times they are known as patient support assistant or healthcare assistant with salary approx $2000 or part time basis about $10/he typically on a 4 hours workday KNN

This incident set me thinking. There would not be such swift and clear-cut response if a similar incident happened to staff from regular uniform service. It shows that Enterprise Singapore works in very dynamic environments and kudos to them for being able to leash an adequate punishment without covering up or dragging their feet.
