All the Presidential Candidates Mandarin are crap compared to this Ang Moh!

Acceptable? Has the standard of Mandarin in Singapore really that bad that we can't even compete with a western country in terms of communicating in a language that we are supposedly good at? Does this highlight the failure of the bilingual policy in Singapore? If only the Presidential candidates have half the standards that is displayed by this Ang Moh.

He had an interest and that is what makes the difference. He is a likeable fellow and I greatly admire such a person with a humble background who rose to become a leader. Cannot compare Wooden Goh who now has forgotten how to eat real peanuts. Kudos to Kevin Rudd and thank you for the video.

Must add that his father was grooming him as his replacement and to be as good as himself if not better. Turns out he was good, but not good enough. Not his fault being brought up in such a sanitised environment like a trained circus animal performing tricks. His reality is far different from those of the common people. It is like telling someone born blind, the beauty of the landscape you see but which he will never be able to understand fully.

He's a fake Chinese lah - a Peranakan. Even Nicole's Mandarin is not really fluent either. Hers was mixed with a bit of Singlish or English accent.

Talking about Maths ... I have something to share and ask about Pythagoras Theorem. Okay, I had invented a special so-called 'Pythagoras Theorem' by myself. See, I told you guys before, right, Ang Moh STOLE our invention AGAIN ! This is actually the Chinese and Babylonian's mathematical formula ! So, mine is special ... ALL SIDES ARE ALWAYS IN INTEGER FORMAT. Has anyone invented this yet ? I also have another one to patent ! Yup ! A Leonardo Da Vinci since young.

I should have PATENT it or COPYRIGHT this great formula ! NUS Maths faculty or England's ?

(a+b)^2=a^2 + b^2 + 2ab ? You've only shown what it means versus a blind memorisation of the formula. The sad thing about Singapore's education is that visualisation like this were never taught in schools. Only the blind memorising of it.

Pythagoras Got It All Wrong !

In a site, it mentioned that Pythagoras did NOT invent this formula, he brought it from a place somewhere in the Middle East.

He got it wrong and he can't explain how it was derived initially.

It should be c^2 - a^2 = b^2 and not the addition version.

ok all the maths major starts appearing. i recall taking a maths modules and we have to proof that 2 parallel lines really do not intercept. WTF that was when i know maths is not my game
