I have seen my peers those who went into SPF.
Only 1 still in the force holding senior rank (scholar).
2 chaps went to jail....Als case and another for seperate corruption case.
1 used the time to further studies now a lawyer.
Another 2 early retired now successful businessmen in related fields (security/ moneylender).
1 became big bookie also with his connections.
Finally one who got sent to East Timor and Cambodia then did stints with UN and Interpol and finally took a job with Canadian police now migrated.....I would say his path was the best to be able to unsinkified himself.
I did not know which path I would have taken.
