Usually when a journalist or news network wants to do the government in, they will interview and distort and put the minister or government in bad light or ridicule. You should be able to see through their agenda.

The fact that the minister declines is just an excuse. Anyway ministers don't just give interviews - they get their ka kias to distribute press releases.

Well if this cocksuck Vivian claims that these articles are "falsehoods", why has he not sued Al Jazeera? After all, these falsehoods are not much different from the falsehoods that the Economist or Asian Wall Street Journal were claimed to have committed. Is it because he knows that outside a S'pore court, he cannot win?

He can thump his chest and cry foul but it's another story to pursue the lie in the courts. Thumping his chest meanwhile proves to be more effective than hauling them to court, when the grounds are not allways that clear. If he can demolish AJ the easier way, why go the tenuous way?

I read the article about TOc report on Straits Time yesterday. I was really boiled after reading it.

Instead of pointing out the Garment's error, the article instead claimed that the couple was again in the lime light. Then for more and 2/3 of the article, it continued to boast about the Garment's safety net had ensure no one fall through the loop holes. Nothing at all was made to clarify the matters at all.

It seems that Reuter are not accurate in their rankings, Singapore news media should be at bottom 3.

So Shanmugam, Singapore mass media still reliable? How can it b when its reporting is not balanced?
