this is evaporative cooling, yes it does cool by passing air through waterfall exchanging heat to the water but will only do so much for so little. a more effective way is the aircon water bed where water is conditioned to low temp and travel through the bed to deliver, spot cooling, more direct and effective for bedrooms.
