Thanks Joety this is useful knowledge.

When I visited one of the NTUC stores to at look at what rice bran oil they carried, I only saw large bottles of the NTUC house branded rice brand oils. They also had some other brands which were a mixture of several oils mixed together. Obviously these products were inferior products being sold based on price. There was no indication or mention of oryzanol content.

I didn't even know what Oryzanol is & had to google it.
With this knowlege people can identify what to look for.

The halogen oven looks like the convection oven I mentioned in page 1. It's good and cheap and bakes well.

I just tried using the halogen oven to make some fries.
