Anyway do u remember how it was cooked?

How was the taste like?

A guy like me would never have the chance to eat it but i doubt i would.

Damn i must try something more exotic like ostrich or croc meat. The brazilian restaurant C something in 6th ave. Damn lots of meat but i think it's normal meat.

Jah_rastafar,

My strength is in eating and never cooking. For flying fox, my mother would cook soup with herbs and that is all I know. :o Tastes like black chicken soup cooked with herbs.

Tried ostrich, emu and croc meats. From my view point you didn't miss anything.

Btw were u born in a rich family? If your dad own a firearm in those days it was cos of hunting right? Usually for the British it is the rich who can afford to have rifles and dogs and the horses etc.

Was it the same as you?

Thank god at least i fired an m-16 in army but never killed anything with it.

Jah_rastafar,

No, was born in middle income family, Just that my dad had this group of crazy khakis who were ultra active in their younger days, and to keep them at home you will need to ball chain them.

They used a .22 rifle for flying fox and a double barrel for wild boar. Accompanied him only on one occassion. Too young to remember details but I think it was in a fruit orchard, obviously targetting flying foxes. We stayed overnight in an old kampong-like house with thatched roof. Anyway, Malaysia has banned hunting since gaining independence.

I am just like you, never killed anything with a rifle.

I am an avid meat eater, so am as guilty as hell in causing, at least indirectly, the death of an animal every time I tuck into meats.

Well eating meat needn't make you feel guilty. For example, my meat eater friend rationalized using leather products because she eats beef.

I think a reasonable level of meat consumption in our modern world cannot be faulted.

However, please try to use less animal products especially FUR. I hate people who kill animals for their fur.

I've always tried to eat as little meat as possible.

Let's all love animals together. Please don't eat cute bunnies, cute cats or cute dogs ok?

And let's not forget the adorable lambs, calves, and many more types of animals.

Eat mushrooms. They aren't so cute! :p:p:p

Perhaps you are conscious of your health to minimise consumption of meats. Although a meat lover, I will never touch meats from cats, dogs, snakes. I get put off from just the thought of it. I have a dog at home and just the thought of eating its cousins make me puke.

I do eat lamb meat and have tried bunnies, though not the "lola" kind. Hehehe! :o

Do eat mushrooms.....with meat on the side. :p

You know the old saying, "Forbidden fruit.....". Hahahaha!

My dog, or rather my daughter's dog is a mongrel. Don't have the time for the pedigree type. She's old for a dog, being with the family for nearly 2 decades. Her reflexes are not as keen as she was in her younger days, so sometimes when I get home she is not even aware when I would I take the wicked opportunity sneak right up to her to startle her with a tap followed with a loud "boo". She has her moods, lying over my feet when I watch TV in the living room, ignores me (bitchy) when she thinks she has been slighted and leaps at me when she thinks she is ignored. She is very much a part of the family.

What's wrong with pedigree dogs?

I think she sounds like a cat.

WHy eat meat?

Evil comes from eating it. Be careful who you support. Eat evil support evil.
