SINGAPORE: Minister Mentor Lee Kuan Yew will be in China from Monday to Saturday.

He will first visit Beijing from October 27-28 and then Shanghai from October 28-
November 1 to attend the JPMorgan International Council Meeting.

Mr Lee will also meet China's government and business leaders during his visit.

SINGAPORE: Education Minister and Second Minister for Defence Dr Ng Eng Hen is making a four-day visit to Korea and China on October 27.

While in Korea, Dr Ng will meet with his education counterpart Mr Ahn Byong-Man to explore further collaborations.

He will also meet with education professionals and thought leaders, and visit schools and universities in Korea.

In China, Dr Ng will visit education institutions to learn more about current developments in the Chinese education landscape.

He will be accompanied by Senior Minister of State for National Development and Education Grace Fu, as well as senior officials from the Education Ministry. - CNA/vm
