Oh dear, the pompous asses are now congregating here to pat themselves on the back and suck Sam's dick. As much as the PAP can't prove their points sometimes, it's not as if the pompous asses here are much better. PAP has been singing the same old tunes and they're still around calling the shots, mandated by the people mind you. The pompous asses here have been singing the same old tunes too and nothing ever changes, though they claim to speak on behalf of "the people". Come the next election, if and most probably when the PAP receives another resounding mandate from the people, it will very likely be another four years of getting shafted, and another four years of the pompous asses in this forum inflating their egos with stunning insights, wondrous dissections and dire predictions of how PAP will lose the next time. Should such a scenario occur, it can only mean a few things. Either the election is rigged, or the people are so dumb they only vote PAP, or the PAP successes outweigh their failures and the effects of their snafus just aren't as bad as perceived, so the people still vote for them. Note that I didn't mention any Opposition because no matter how right they are, like the pompous asses here, not enough people support them so they can't change a thing. So of the two most likely reasons, both as the bottom line have the support of the people. I'll probably have to re-emphasise this again when the election is over, because the pompous asses always assume that by being right they automatically have the support of the people. So have fun while you can, pompous asses, taking as many potshots as you can, because after the election I'll have to quote this passage just to remind you that as right as you are and as wrong as PAP is, you still don't have the support of the very people you claim to represent in your writings. In fact I dare say the only reason you write is not on behalf of the people, but on behalf of your ego.
Oh, and since duplicity is of course the order of the day, I would too like to thanks Sam for cleaning up the forum and making it a much better place.
