That will mean another 5 years of specialist training.

why should they when they can charge more money than a real specialist now ?
this is really the part I can't wrap my head around. How can they charge more money than a real specialist? I simply can't see it. Skin treatment $5000 or something like that? People have to be insane to pay lots of money for this.

It's not like they're offering lifesaving procedures.

there is. to nayr69sg's eternal unhappiness, TCM is very well accepted in his newly adopted country. It is essentially a mainstream treatment there.

It is even covered by health insurance there and regular colleges offer courses and certification in it... 100% English.

I'm afraid I don't know too much detail about TCM myself. Especially herb names! But I do know that healthcare plans overseas do include it... Singapore actually is behind on TCM acceptance as a certified body compared to some Western countries. Not to say that more people use TCM, but TCM is more of a discipline in those countries.

For eg, see https://www.ab.bluecross.ca/providers/acupuncture-home.php

Maybe you can go and visit him and learn TCM at the same time!!:laugh:

I went to a hairdressing salon in HK once, and the young lady who cut my hair wore a nametag that said "Hymen". I suspect her Chinese name is Hei Mun.

ah! a hongkang woman named leong once asked me for a catchy english name, so i recommended “labia”. labia leong she is.

Sounds like a birkin bag to me

thank you for the summary. I've got more questions, but I'll save them for the visit. You can share more of what your friend of a friend of friend who is a doctor taught you to me. I'm all ears.

Anyway as I mentioned in a previous post, you cannot be grab delivery guy because you are expecting good tips. :sneaky: Grab expecting good tips = hell producing snowballs.
