After slightly more then 100 hrs on Sony ZX2 and Z5 combo...the sound is really good. Z5 is a hybrid iem and the bass is punchy and really go low...mid and high isn't the best but certainly worth the $899 price.
Wat really stand out for this combo are the 3d imaging, separation and articulation. Moi never hear anything better...not even the AK240. On the ZX2, Z5 sound like a full headphone more then an IEM.
Strangely, moi other ba iem doesn't sound as good on ZX2...not saying it sound bad thou. Think they are design to work as one. Likewise...Z5 doesn't sound as good on other dap...
Then again...sound is subjective...chiu nid not agree with moi...
