This is what Pope Francis said about the Charlie Hebdo clowns:
"One cannot provoke, one cannot insult other people’s faith, one cannot make fun of faith. [...]. There is a limit. Every religion has its dignity … in freedom of expression there are limits.
If my good friend Dr Gasparri says a curse word against my mother, he can expect a punch. It’s normal. It’s normal. You cannot provoke. You cannot insult the faith of others. You cannot make fun of the faith of others.” Pope Francis, January 2015
He said this in relation to the Charlie Hebdo clowns deliberate needling and provoking of the Muslim world by deriding the Prophet Mohammad, all made in the name of "freedom of speech".
These Charlie Hebdo clowns very same "freedom of speech" is curtailed under the French Gayssot Act which disallows them from exercising their "freedom of speech" to, and criminalises the questioning of the Holocaust by anyone.
