Guys, Pai Seh. Did not went for breakfast successfully. Halfway motorcycle langa with another motorcycle. Got bruises over my right knee/leg and a big piece of skin gone from the elbow area. Luckily, the other motorcycle offer to help me and I was wearring long pants today. Now back in apartment to wash the wound.

Clean wound with mild soap and get some antiseptic on it. You should cover it up for a few days until skin crusts over. If bad, go to hospital

Anybody here know if you can buy Hainanese Kaya in Bangkok? Not the Thai sangkaya type - that one cannot eat one. I'm talking about the dark brown one.
I want to buy a few jars. May be in Bangkok end of May for a few days.

OK too bad - I've never seen it for sale in supermarkets - maybe I try at Breadtalk's kopitiam (forgot the name) - maybe they sell. This breadtalk group is everywhere in Thailand - they've expanded very aggressively. Din Tai Fung (not cheap and also I think not that good) is also operated by them through a franchise.

I actually had 2 options: (1) Drive there myself or (2) Do it with tour - yesterday I checked and the one day tour is like pass by Hoover and given 15mins to look see then quickly proceed to Grand Canyon West every thing quickly. So I decided to do it myself so that it will be more meaningful.
Took our time while at Hoover because there's just so much to learn there. Then started the journey to Grand Canyon at 11am. At 12noon we stopped for a nice lunch in a small town Dolon Spring (see pics above). We had only another 60miles to go to the Grand Canyon West Rim. We spoke to the owner of the restaurant restaurant, BB Pizzza, and she said that West Rim is too commercialised witht eh skywalk. This was built by a Japanese and so many "oriental" tourists goes there. She recommended the south rim but its another 120miles away. I drive to Grand Canyon Cavern which was 80 miles from the restaurant and the guys there told me not a good idea to reach there as its another 100 miles drive or 2hrs. I decided to turn back. Anyway I did not regret as the drive as very refreshing and scenery fantastic on 95 and 66 and most importantly I got to spend a lot of time in Hoover. OK I will have to go there next time probably not from LV. Here's some pics I took at Hoover,

Din know the LOS Din Tai Fung was also related to sinkie's one.......saw the signboard and chinese characters spelt in different way from sinkieland one...i used to go to the one at Ram 24.

Think will be out of action for at least 1 week. Right ankle is getting more pain when walking. KNN, cannot made insurance claim because my motorbike license expired on 11 Mar 2012. This is a new bike (Still red licensce plate) so a little bit Sim Tia.
